How to use
Age is calendar arithmetic, not a division of elapsed time. Months have different lengths and leap years add a day, so dividing total days by 365.25 gives an approximation while this tool counts actual calendar months.

Someone born on 15 May 1990, evaluated on 20 July 2026, is 36 years, 2 months and 5 days old — about 13,214 days, 1,887 weeks, and 317,136 hours. Their next birthday is 299 days away.
Checking an eligibility cutoff
To confirm whether a child born on 3 September 2019 was five years old by a 1 September 2024 school cutoff, set the reference date to 1 September 2024. The result is 4 years, 11 months and 29 days — two days short.
