How to use

Choose a card type
summary_large_image shows a full-width hero image above the title — best for articles and blog posts. summary shows a small thumbnail to the left of the text — suited to products and profiles. app and player cards are for mobile apps and video embeds respectively.
Enter title, description, and image
The title should be 70 characters or fewer; the description 200 characters or fewer. Use an absolute HTTPS URL for the image — X recommends at least 800×418 pixels for summary_large_image.
Add site and creator handles
twitter:site is the @handle of the website's X account (e.g. @mysite). twitter:creator is the @handle of the content author. Both appear in the card attribution and help with analytics.
Examples
Sharing a news article
Use summary_large_image, the article headline as the title, the first two sentences as the description, and the article's hero image as the image URL. The card will show the image prominently when the link is posted on X.
Sharing a documentation page
Use summary card type with the page title and a brief one-sentence description of what the page covers. summary is more compact and appropriate for reference pages where a large image is not available or meaningful.
